Located in the heart of Penicuik, Dance Pointe Academy Offers students of all ages the opportunity to showcase themselves through the beauty of dance. We run weekly dance and musical theatre classes at Dance Pointe Studios, there are always opportunities through out the year to perform, compete and enter examinations, check out the events page for more information.

We offer a wide range of classes for our students ensuring there is something for every one, whether they are coming just for fun and exercise or are looking to pursue a career in the industry.

Learning to dance has many physical, emotional and social benefits for children, teenagers and adults. Our highly qualified staff are committed to creating an atmosphere that is friendly and supportive for every one. All of our classes are conducted in a fully equipped centrally heated studio with spring floors, mirrors and barres.

SOMETHING FOR GROWN UPS

Ever thought of trying a Zumba class but been too scared to give it a try? Well now's the time.

Classes are designed to give you an all over body workout whilst having fun dancing to great rythmns from the merengue to the latest chart toppers. You will leave feeling energised and exilirated.

Come along to the Penicuik North Kirk Church on a Wednesday

at 8pm. - 9pm

Wester Hailes Education Centre on a Monday at 6.45pm - 7.45pm

You won't regret it!!!!!

We also run ADULT BALLET CLASSES on a Monday night at Dance Pointe Studios from 8.30 - 9.30pm. This is a general class so is open to anyone with and without experience. Ballet is another great way to get fit and feel great about yourself.

CHANGES TO THIS YEAR'S PROGRAMME

BOYS' BREAKING CLASS

In order for our b boys to get the best training we will have a class at one hour and a half where all pupils will have an hour of class time and then move on to a led practice session with Remady. Classes are open to boys ages 6 + and practice session from 8 +. Remady has the knowledge and experience to turn you into a complete, all rounded bGirl/bBoy and has trained with pioneers of this genre. She has a vast knowledge that she loves sharing.

Tuesday class: 4.30 - 5.30pm

Practice session : 5.30 - 6pm

MONDAY CLASSES

Rona Anderson will be taking over the classes on a Monday, whom you should all know by now. She can't wait to start back classes next week and get to know everyone a little more!!!
