A QUICK FOREWORD FROM JULIE
Winter term is just around the corner folks, so get the wellie boots and shovels at the ready. We are getting prepared at DPA!!!
On a lighter note, I am sure you will all agree that the Autumn term was a great success this year, it has been great to see lots of new faces and all the familiar faces still with us!I have heard great feedback from all the staff at DPA as to how the pupils are doing! Well done every one.
Well done to the senior performance team who raised £240.00 dancing at the Mitchell Theatre in Glasgow for the RCLCF Dance–A-Thon 2011. As usual they excelled themselves.
Look out for the junior and senior performance team showing off their talents in and around Midlothian. Details of forth coming events will be displayed on the website.
If your child is interested in joining the team please inform a member of staff, training sessions are every second Sunday.
FREE TASTER SESSIONS
We are starting up an adult ballet class on a Monday from 8.30 – 9.30pm. Monday the 24 will be free!!! Ballet is a great form of exercise and is guaranteed to make you feel great about yourself.
We are also holding a taster session for the beginner’s break dance class on Tuesday the 25 of October from 4pm – 5pm, ages 6 up. If you are not too sure what breaking is all about Emma, will definitely show your child the ropes of top rocking, footwork, freezes and power moves, remember and bring some water as this is guaranteed to get you moving!!!

There are still a few places in other classes, but be sure to register your child before the term starts as they are filling up quickly!!!
